This house is absolutely magical, Contemporary in country style, it is located less than a mile from the downtown enchanted Monterey with the charming Monterey General Store, the Library, historic Monterey Meeting House and without the doubt, you'll like Monterey low property taxes. The sandy beach on Lake Garfield is stone throw from the house and you also have your own deeded, grassy lake access just up-front.
The house is privately located within a small lake community, surrounded by a lovely landscaped grounds with stone walls and flowering gardens.
The large front deck partially wraps around, plus there is a smaller deck with a pergola located off of the kitchen, which extends the interior space out and provides a charming, private setting for your outdoor dining.
The ground level offers a good size family room with sliders to the lake side, also has an utility/laundry room with washer & dryer and the oversized one-car garage.
The main level is just wonderful with cathedral ceiling, skylights, the wall of windows with sliders to the large front deck, the lovely open eat-in kitchen with the sliders to the smaller deck and the master bedroom with a new master bath are also on main level.
